FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT

  • ElectroForce 3200 test instrument, manufactured by the ElectroForce Systems Group of Bose Corporation, features +225 N (+50 lbf) maximum force, +6.5 mm stroke, +5.6 Nm, +3,600 degrees of rotation (+10 turns) and up to 3.2 m/sec velocity capacities. With the versatility of static to 200 Hz frequency response, the table-top configuration is adaptable to a variety of test applications for biomedical research and engineered materials, including torsion testing, creep under dynamic loading and special environments (saline bath or hot/cold chamber). ElectroPulsTM E100000 test instrument, manufactured by Instron, features +10 KN (+2,250 lbf) maximum axial force, +60 mm stroke, and ±100 Nm ±800 in-lb) torsion capability.
